NISSAN LEAF, MY FIRST ALL-ELECTRIC CAR!
I was excited at the possibility of one day being able to own an EV!

When I first heard that Tan Chong/Nissan was going to bring the LEAF into Malaysia, I was excited at the possibility of one day being able to own an EV. When I discovered that they were going to offer the public a rare chance to be an ambassador for the LEAF and to help NISSAN with real world testing, I jumped at the chance and quickly submitted my application. As a self confessed greenie (I recycle, I made my own compost bin, and my home is a mini jungle), I felt extremely proud

when I was told that my application was successful and that I would be amongst the first Malaysians to "own" a fully electric car. I am looking forward to receiving the keys to the LEAF on the 16th of July, and I am sure the next 6 weeks of testing and ownership of the car will seem short. |
Already the few of my closest friends who also know of this, share my excitement and curiosity. Surely, they are also looking forward to learn from my experiences, living with a fully electric car.
