- The Serendah Assembly Plant received ISO 14001 (Environmental Management Systems) and ISO 9001 (Quality Management System) certifications
- ETCM was ranked No. 1 in J.D. Power Asia Pacific 2012 Malaysia Sales Satisfaction Index (SSI) study
- ETCM was awarded the “Nissan Champion Distributor” by Nissan Motor Co., Ltd (Japan) for three consecutive years, ie. 2009, 2010 and 2011
- Dato’ Dr. Ang Bon Beng, ETCM’s Executive Director was named "Automotive Man Of The Year 2009"
