Nissan Motorsports International Co. Ltd (NISMO) was established on 1984 in Japan. Being the motorsports division to Nissan, it had since then inherited all of the expertise that came from Nissan’s considerable experience of motor sports.
Since its inception, NISMO has always been known as a pioneering racing company, but in fact, it is involved in two distinct of business – racing and after-market parts. Common to both of these, however, is the “NISMO spirit” of challenge, the determination to ensure specialty and originality.
Having established throughout Japan, NISMO is proud to bring the same passion and performance to Malaysia since 2005.
From Japan to Frame, Dakar to Daytona, our dedication to innovation has made Nissan Motorsport a dominant force. We’ve got coming first in our blood – whether it’s the famous Skyline or the groundbreaking electric race car NISMO ZEOD RC (Zero Emissions on Demand Race Car)
There is no greater automotive test than motor racing. To compete is a serious challenge. To win is the crowning achievement. Since 1984, Nissan’s motorsport division NISMO has been driven by engineering mavericks who have just one goal: ultimate Nissan performance.
A History of Wining
In 1936, a 747cc CHECK Datsun took the chequered flag for the first time in the marque’s history. Nissan, which owns the Datsun name, hasn’t stopped racing – and winning – since. From Japan to Le Mans, from Dakar to Daytona, our dedication to innovation has made Nissan Motorsports a force to be reckoned with. Whether developing the Skyline into the legendary GT-R, or creating focused machines designed to shape the future, we race what we build, and we win what we race.
The Evolution of Who We Are
Since 1984, NISMO has been the official in-house racing arm of Nissan. Started 30 years ago by a group of maverick Nissan engineers, the NISMO name is synonymous with passion, expertise, and the heights of Nissan performance – not to mention decades of racing dominance.
